A tutti i Registrar, come preannunciato piu' volte durante le scorse settimane, alle ore 14:00 di domani 18 luglio 2012, la piattaforma epp-idn.nic.it dedicata al lancio degli IDN sara' dismessa. Pertanto, TUTTE le operazioni inerenti ai nomi a dominio IDN potranno essere effettuate sulle piattaforme epp.nic.it e epp-deleted.nic.it secondo le attuali regole di registrazione. Vi informiamo anche che, contestualmente, il numero di operazioni giornaliere di "check domain" effettuabili da un Registrar sulla piattaforma epp.nic.it sara' incrementato dalle attuali 6.000 a 20.000. A tutti i Registrar, come preannunciato alcune settimane fa, a partire da domani, 11 luglio, sara' possibile registrare nel .it gli Internationalized Domain Names (IDN). L'apertura delle registrazioni IDN e' fissata per le ore 14:00 dell'11 luglio. Le operazioni relative agli IDN saranno accettate SOLO sulla piattaforma EPP ad esse dedicata, denominata epp-idn.nic.it. La piattaforma epp-idn.nic.it sara' attiva dalle ore 14:00 del giorno 11 luglio sino alle ore 14:00 del giorno 18 luglio. Durante tale periodo, sara' possibile effettuare, su tale piattaforma, tutte le classiche operazioni sui nomi a dominio, ad eccezione delle operazioni di "transfer domain", "transfer-trade domain" e "trade domain". Sara' possibile effettuare giornalmente fino a 3.000 operazioni di "check domain" e 3.000 operazioni di "create domain". A tutti i Registrar, vi informiamo che mercoledi 4 luglio sara' attivata una nuova versione del server EPP del Registro che prevedera' l'attivazione delle seguenti modifiche: - modifica alla lista dei namespace da indicare nell’operazione di "Login"; - modifica nell'intestazione delle risposte e nel formato delle risposte di errore inviate dal server EPP; - modifica del messaggio di polling “DNS check ended unsuccessfully"; - possibilita' di specificare anche un indirizzo IPv6 per i nameserver subordinati ad un nome a dominio. Tali modifiche e funzionalita' sono ampiamente illustrate nell'apposito documento "Principali modifiche delle Linee Guida Tecniche v1.4", nonche' nelle nuove Linee Guida Tecniche v1.4, pubblicati in data 11 maggio 2012 sul portale RAIN (https://rain.nic.it) nella sezione "Documenti/Regolamenti". L'operazione di attivazione del nuovo server sara' effettuata alle ore 9:30 del 4 luglio e prevedera' un fermo delle macchine epp.nic.it e epp-deleted.nic.it di circa 1 ora. The main changes can be summarized as follows: - list of namespaces to indicate in the "Login" command, amended; - header of the responses and format of the error messages sent by the by the EPP server, amended; - polling message “DNS check ended unsuccessfully”, amended; - possibility to associate an IPv6 address to those nameservers subordinate to a domain name. The above changes and new features are widely described in the relevant document "Main Changes of the Technical Guidelines v1.4", and in the new Technical Guidelines v1.4, published on May 11 2012 on the RAIN portal (https://rain.nic.it) in the section "Documents/Regulations". The new server will be activated on July 4 at 9:30 am and will include a stop of approximately one hour of the epp.nic.it and epp-deleted.nic.it servers.
