L’Internet Festival esplorera’ come l’utilizzo delle nuove tecnologie dell’informazione e della comunicazione siano la base dello sviluppo e della crescita di idee, invenzioni, opportunita’, prodotti, servizi e start up, indicando la via per uno sviluppo condiviso e un futuro percorribile. Il Festival, ad ingresso libero, e' promosso da Regione Toscana, Comune di Pisa, Cnr, Registro .it e Istituto di Informatica e Telematica del Cnr insieme a Camera di Commercio di Pisa, Provincia di Pisa, Universita' di Pisa, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Scuola Normale Superiore e Associazione Festival della Scienza.
