A tutti i Registrar, vi informiamo che, sulla piattaforma di test, al link http://dns-check.pubtest.nic.it/ e’ disponibile un nuovo sistema di controllo della configurazione dei nameserver, che consente anche la validazione DNSSec. Le principali funzionalitaì e controlli di configurazione previsti per la validazione DNSSec sono i seguenti: a) possibilita’ di abilitare la validazione DNSSec per un nome a dominio; b) se abilitata la validazione DNSSec, possibilita’ di specificare un record DS al fine di verificarne la correttezza rispetto alla/e chiave/i KSK contenute nella zona del nome a dominio (vedi punto d); c) verifica dei nameserver che hanno risposto alle query di tipo DNSKEY; d) verifica della correttezza dei Record DS rispetto alla chiavi presenti nella zona; e) verifica della correttezza della firma dei record di tipo DNSKEY; f) verifica della correttezza della firma del record di tipo SOA; g) verifica la correttezza della firma del record di tipo NS. Il sistema, a differenza del precedente, consente attualmente di validare sia nomi a dominio .it che appartenenti ad altre estensioni. Per poter verificare la validazione DNSSec di nomi a dominio .it, e’ sufficiente crearsi la zona del dominio, firmarla, generare il record DS, configurare almeno due nameserver autoritativi e specificare nel sistema di validazione il nome del dominio, i relativi nameserver, i loro indirizzi IP e il record DS. Agli inizi di settembre, sara’ attivata, sempre sulla piattaforma di test, anche la possibilita’ di inviare, via EPP, la sezione <secDNS:dsData> contenente le informazioni sui record DS del nome a dominio firmato digitalmente. Main DNSSec functionalities and configuration checks are the following: a) it is possible to enable the DNSSec validation to check a domain name; b) if the DNSSec validation is enabled, it is possible to specify a DS record in roder to verify its correctness compared to the KSK key(s) contained in the domain name zone (see also the following point d)); c) it verifies which nameservers are replying to the DNSKEY query; d) it verifies the correctness of the DS Records compared to the keys contained in the zone; e) it verifies the correctness of the signature of the DNSKEY records; f) it verifies the correctness of the signature of the SOA record; g) it verifies the correctness of the signature of the NS records. The system currently allows the validation of .it and other extensions domain names. In order to verify the DNSSec validation of .it domain names, it is necessary to create the domain name zone, sign it, generate the DS records, configure at least two athoritative nameservers and specify in the tool the domain name, the authoritative nameservers names, their IPs and the DS record. A tutti i Registrar, vi ricordiamo che il 30 giugno è l’ultimo giorno per l’invio al Registro.it del nuovo contratto 2016-2019. Pertanto, coloro che non lo avessero ancora inviato, sono pregati di farlo al più presto, al fine di consentire al Registro di gestire per tempo il processo di rinnovo. Il nuovo Contratto Registrar e l’allegato A (licenza di marchio) e l’allegato B (norme di buona condotta) sono disponibili sul sito del web Registro, nella sezione “Diventare Registrar” https://www.nic.it/reg-pm/contratto2016/contrattoRegistrar.html Se è vs intenzione sottoscrivere il contratto e gli allegati A e B con firma digitale CADES è necessario sottoscrivere il documento PDF 5 volte (una per ciascuna firma prevista di accettazione) trasmettendolo poi via PEC a registro(a)pec.nic.it. Se avete a disposizione un sistema di firma digitale PADES vi suggeriamo di firmare il contratto e gli eventuali allegati A e B di vs interesse in ogni sua parte usando firme "figurative" trasmettendolo poi sempre via PEC a registro(a)pec.nic.it. A tutti i Registrar, si ricorda, come già indicato nella comunicazione del 27 aprile 2016 alla lista registrars(a)nic.it, che a decorrere dal 1 maggio 2016 è in vigore il nuovo Contratto Registrar, con effetto dal 1 maggio 2016 e termine il 30 aprile 2019. Il Contratto deve essere inviato al Registro entro il prossimo 30 giugno. Vi invitiamo quindi a procedere il prima possibile con il suo invio in modo da poter gestire per tempo il processo di rinnovo. Il Contratto è disponibile sul sito del Registro, nella sezione “Diventare Registrar” (http://www.nic.it/registrar/diventare-registrar). A tutti i Registrar, vi informiamo che, in data 1 maggio 2016, entrera’ in vigore il nuovo contratto Registro-Registrar pubblicato sul sito web del Registro all’indirizzo http://www.nic.it/registrar/diventare-registrar. Conseguentemente sono state aggiornate le Linee Guida tecniche relativamente a: - eliminazione della soglia minima di credito necessaria al Registrar per il mantenimento dei propri nomi a dominio (ad oggi fissata a 4 giorni); - possibilita’, per un Registrar sospeso, di poter recuperare i nomi a dominio dallo stato di pendingDelete/redemptionPeriod e di effettuare le operazioni di modifica semplice sui nomi a dominio da esso mantenuti e sui relativi contatti. Tutte le suddette modifiche comportano un vantaggio per i Registrar rispetto a quanto attualmente in vigore. Le nuove Linee Guida tecniche saranno pubblicate sul sito web del Registro e sul portale RAIN lunedi 2 maggio. Therefore, the Technical Guidelines have been updated for what concerns: - Elimination of the minimum credit threshold needed to the Registrar for the maintenance of its domain names (currently set to 4 days); - Possibility for a suspended Registrar, to be able to recover domain names from pendingDelete / redemptionPeriod status and carry out simple change operations on domain names and related contacts. All these changes will result in benefit to the Registrar than is currently in force. The new Technical Guidelines will be published on the Registry website and on the RAIN Portal on Monday, May 2. All these changes will result in all these changes are a significant improvement for the Registrars, compared to what is currently in force.
