A tutti i Registrar, vi informiamo che, al fine di consentire ai Registrar un efficiente svolgimento delle loro attivita', con specifico riferimento alle operazioni "ibride" di modifica da Maintainer a Registrar e di modifica da Maintainer a Registrar con associata la modifica del Registrante, il Registro ha predisposto, anche per i Registrar, il servizio Whois Autenticato che, previa sottoscrizione di un accordo di riservatezza - NDA, permettera' loro di conoscere i dati necessari alla corretta realizzazione delle predette operazioni. Il nuovo accordo aggiuntivo rappresenta un'integrazione del contratto fra lo "IIT- Registro" ed il Registrar. L'accordo di riservatezza e' disponibile ai Registrar sul portale RAIN (https://rain.nic.it) nella sezione "Strumenti". The new additional agreement represents an integration of the contract between the IIT-Registry and the Registrars. Sta per partire la campagna di comunicazione nelle scuole, presentata a novembre a Pisa durante il meeting annuale. All'iniziativa e' associato un concorso a premi (.it awards). L'interesse a partecipare da protagonisti a questa iniziativa, emerso durante l'incontro e anche in precedenti contatti con le associazioni di riferimento, si e' concretizzato con la proposta di Maintainer e Registrar di mettere a disposizione dei premi - volti a offrire una concreta opportunita' - ai giovani vincitori del concorso. Il progetto e' focalizzato sugli aspetti positivi di Internet e sulle opportunita' - ancora tutte da scoprire - che la Rete puo' offrire a coloro che appartengono alla generazione dei "nativi digitali", i giovani e giovanissimi nati nell'era di Internet che, non a caso, danno il titolo all'iniziativa. Le tipologie di premio che potrebbero essere offerte dai Maintainer e dai Registrar sono: - "business angel" per una idea progettuale di impatto - stage estivo per lo/gli studenti vincitori presso la sede del Maintainer o del Registrar (durata da indicare nella vostra eventuale proposta) - registrazione di un nome .it e hosting di un sito web per un anno - "adozione" del video/foto a scopi "promozionali" da parte del Maintainer o del Registrar dando visibilita' all'autore (o agli autori) Gli elaborati saranno pubblicati sul sito del Registro (www.registro.it) e concorreranno per l'assegnazione degli ".it awards": il nome del premio identifica tutta la comunita' che ruota intorno a .it - Registro, Maintainer e Registrar - che lavora insieme per offrire un'opportunita' ai piu' giovani. This project is associated with the dot it awards. There has been much interest in taking part in this campaign, which emerged during the meeting and also in previous contacts with the reference associations. In fact Maintainers and Registrars have decided to provide awards – which are designed to offer a real opportunity – to the young winners of the competition. The project is focused on the positive aspects and opportunities of the Internet - still awaiting discovery - that the network can offer to those who belong to the generation of digital natives, i.e. those youngsters who were born in the era of the Internet (and who thus appear in the name of the project). The types of award that could be offered by the Maintainers and the Registrars are: - "Business angels" for a project idea that has significant impact - Summer internship / student winners at the headquarters of the Maintainer or the Registrar (period to be indicated in your proposal) - Registration of a dot it name and hosting of the related website for one year - "Adoption" of the video / photo for "promotional" purposes by the Maintainer or the Registrar, giving visibility to the artist/s. The works will be published on the Registry website (www.registro.it) and will compete for the ".it awards". The name of the award identifies the whole community that revolves around dot it - the Registry, Maintainers and Registrars - working together to provide an opportunity to youngsters. A tutti i Maintainer/Registrar, con la presente Vi informiamo che da oggi all'interno della sezione "Corsi" del portale RAIN (https://rain.nic.it/), e' disponibile la lista di tutti i corsi in programma per il 2010 (La registrazione sincrona: aspetti operativi e legali; La registrazione sincrona: aspetti tecnici per i Registrar; Internazionalizzazione: aspetti tecnici e rapporti con la titolarita' dei diritti; Aspetti Legali e Giuridici; I CMS nell'evoluzione del Web; Posta Elettronica e Sicurezza Informatica). A tutti i Maintainer/Registrar, vi informiamo che, come preannunciato con la nostra mail del 22 gennaio scorso, domani 2 febbraio, alle ore 12.00, sara' completata la migrazione dei servizi del Registro .it sul nuovo spazio di indirizzamento. In particolare, da domani i servizi Whois, DAS e Whois Autenticato saranno disponibili solo sulla rete 192.12.192/23. Alleghiamo, per comodita', copia della comunicazione inviata. Altresi' il Registro si e' dotato di un proprio spazio di indirizzamento IPv6 ed e' attualmente in corso la realizzazione di una infrastruttura dual stack. I servizi ancora offerti sul vecchio spazio di indirizzamento 193.205.245.0/24 sono i seguenti: - whois.nic.it (193.205.245.242); - das.nic.it (193.205.245.242); - whois-auth.nic.it (193.205.245.197); - mail.nic.it (193.205.245.244). Tali servizi saranno disponibili sul nuovo spazio di indirizzamento IPv4 a partire da mercoledi' 27 gennaio 2010 secondo il seguente calendario: - 27 gennaio 2010: migrazione mail.nic.it (192.12.192.244); - 28 gennaio 2010: migrazione whois.nic.it (192.12.192.242), das.nic.it (192.12.192.242), whois-auth.nic.it (192.12.192.197). I vecchi indirizzi saranno operativi fino a lunedi 2 febbraio alle ore 12.00. Con questa operazione si conclude la migrazione dei servizi offerti dal Registro sullo spazio di indirizzamento 193.205.245.0/24. The Registry has also now an own space address space IPv6 and and a carrying out of a dual stack infrastructure is currently under way. A tutti i Registrar, si comunica che il Registro, alla luce dell'esperienza maturata fino ad oggi nella gestione dei pagamenti relativi all'erogazione del servizio di registrazione sincrona, viste le richieste provenienti dai Registrar stessi tese a valutare sistemi piu' celeri di accreditamento delle somme, al fine di facilitare lo svolgimento dell'attività di registrazione, a decorrere dalla data odierna accreditera' gli importi relativi ai versamenti effettuati dai Registrar appartenenti all'area SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) e secondo le modalita' SEPA (BIC, (Bank Identifier Code) e IBANN, (International Bank Account Number), decorsi due giorni lavorativi dalla data di esecuzione del bonifico fermo restando la maturazione della data valuta. Dovra' essere inviata a tale scopo copia del bonifico correlata del CRO identificativo e dichiarazione sottoscritta dal legale rappresentante, ai sensi di quanto previsto nell'articolo 12 e nell'allegato D del contratto Registro/Registrar. Tale condizione di maggior favore costituisce atto unilaterale, temporaneo e non vincolante del Registro per le motivazioni sopra esposte e non comporta una modifica delle relative clausole contrattuali. Il Registro si riserva, in presenza di comportamenti del Registrar non corretti, di non applicare la predetta condizione di maggior favore. Cordiali saluti, il Registro .it ======================================================= To all Registrars, We inform you that, in the light of experience gained so far in handling payments for the provision of synchronous registration system, and based on the Registrars' requests to evaluate a more expeditious way for crediting in order to facilitate the registration activity, the Registry, with the effect from today, will credit the amount of the payments made by the Registrars belonging to the SEPA Area (Single Euro Payments) and in accordance with SEPA procedure (BIC (Banc Identifier Code) and IBANN (International Bank Account Number), on expiry of two working days from the date of the execution of the bank transfer considering the maturity of the value date. To this purpose the Registrar must send a copy of the credit transfer with the related transaction reference number (equivalent of the Italian CRO) and a written declaration signed by the legal representative, as per art. 12 and Annex D of the Registry/Registrar Contract. This favourability condition constitute an unilateral, temporary and non binding act of the Registry for the above mentioned motivations and does not involve a modification of the relative contractual terms. The Registry reserves the right to deny the aforementioned favourability condition, in case of incorrect behaviour on the part of the Registrar.
