A tutti i Registrar, vi informiamo che, martedì 29 luglio 2014, attiveremo sulla piattaforma di test del Registro (epp-pub-test.nic.it, epp-deleted-pub-test.nic.it, whois-pub-test.nicit, rain-ng-pub-test.nic.it, ecc.) le seguenti nuove funzionalità/innovazioni tecnologiche apportate al sistema di registrazione del Registro: 1) estensione degli IDN alle 24 lingue ufficiali dell’Unione Europea; 2) modifica della durata del periodo di pendingTransfer; 3) invio, ai contatti billing del Registrar, di e-mail conseguenti alla procedura di calcolo della soglia di credito; 4) rimozione del vincolo temporale di 30 giorni legato allo stato inactive/dnsHold; 5) nuove funzionalità del portale RAIN-NG; 6) nuovo DNS validation service via Web; 7) eliminazione dei campi name e contactID dalla vista Whois; 8) modifica del timeout della sessione EPP. Le nuove funzionalità sono descritte in un apposito documento (modifiche_ambiente_test_pubblico.pdf) pubblicato sul portale RAIN (https://rain.nic.it) nella sezione "Documenti/Regolamenti". Vi raccomandiamo di prendere visione delle nuove funzionalità del sistema di registrazione del Registro e di verificare la corretta interazione dei vostri client con il nuovo sistema. Nei casi 3) e 5) sopra riportati, al fine di non creare potenziali equivoci con gli avvisi generati dal sistema di produzione, il sistema attivato sulla piattaforma di test non provvedera’ all’invio dei messaggi via e-mail ai contatti “billing” del Registrar. Cordiali saluti, lo staff del Registro .it ================================================================================== To all Registrars, this is to inform you that, on Tuesday July 29 2014, the following new features/technical innovations introduced in the registration system of the Registry will be also activated on the test platform of the Registry (epp-pub-test.nic.it, epp-deleted-pub-test.nic.it, whois-pub-test.nic.it, rain-ng-pub-test.nic.it, etc.): 1) Extension of IDNs to the 24 official languages of the European Union; 2) Modification of the duration of the pendingTransfer period;; 3) Email forwarding to the Registrar billing contacts, following the procedure of credit threshold calculation; 4) Removal of the 30-day time constraint related to the inactive/dnsHold status; 5) New features of the RAIN-NG portal; 6) New DNS validation service via Web; 7) Elimination of the name and contactID fields from the Whois output; 8) Modification of EPP session timeout. The new features are described in detail in the following document (changes_to_the_public_test_platform.pdf) published on the RAIN portal (https://rain.nic.it) in the "Documents/Regulations" section. We recommend that you read carefully the new features of the Registry registration system and verify the correct interaction of your clients with the new system. In the points 3) and 5) indicated above, in order to avoid any potential ambiguity concerning the alerts generated by the production system, the system activated on the test platform will not send messages via email to the “billing” contacts of the Registrar. Il Registro ha dato incarico all'Istituto di ricerche Pragma srl di svolgere un'indagine statistica sulle motivazioni delle cancellazione o del mancato rinnovo del nome a dominio. A partire dal prossimo 21 luglio 2014 l'Istituto Pragma contattera' un campione di registranti tra imprese, ditte e liberi professionisti per sottoporre loro un questionario. I risultati saranno disponibili in autunno.
