A tutti i Registrar, A partire dal 1 gennaio 2021, il Regno Unito uscirà definitivamente dall’Unione Europea, esaurito il periodo di transizione iniziato lo scorso 31 gennaio, divenendo a tutti gli effetti uno Stato terzo. Considerato che il tema della BREXIT è in continua evoluzione e che, ad oggi, non è ancora chiaro lo scenario definitivo, il Registro .it si riserva comunque la possibilità di analizzare l’accordo UE/Regno Unito al fine di definire una politica di registrazione dei nomi a dominio nel ccTLD .it. In attesa dell’accordo definitivo, si ricorda che il Regno Unito potrà ancora registrare i nomi a dominio nel ccTLD .it. alla stregua dei soggetti che sono cittadini, residenti o domiciliati nei Paesi dello Spazio Economico Europeo (SEE), nello Stato del Vaticano, nella Repubblica di San Marino e nella Confederazione Svizzera.
